A body that was originally set up by combining the former School of Economics and Trade and the former School of Management, the School of Business is dedicated to serving the needs of local economic development and the undertakings related to the Road and Belt Initiative by training students to be qualified and competent personnel with professional skills in both some professional pursuit and management in careers in the business world.
Among the teachers in the School of Business, who are competent in both teaching and academic research, over 20 percent are professors, 70 percent are qualified both as teachers and as experts in other profession. Among the teachers, 3 are tutors of doctoral students, one is a councilor of the Ministry of Education's Teaching Guidance Committee of Security Science Courses and Engineering, one is a councilor of the same Ministry's Teaching Guidance Committee of E-Commerce Courses, one is honored by the Shaanxi Academy of Vocational Education as a Huang Yanpei-like Renowned Vocational Teacher, and one is honored as one of the great Female Contributors to Shaanxi Education.
