Dubbed as a cradle of engineers, the School of Engineering and Technology offers a wide range of practical programs in such applied areas as mechanical apparatus engineering, electrical power engineering, automatization and robotization engineering, intelligent manufacturing, transportation engineering, and auto engineering.
Receiving regular aids from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an Siyuan University's School of Engineering and Technology has a competent faculty with 70 members. 12 of them are professors and associate professors, and 45 are lecturers. Over 80 percent of the teachers have qualifications to be both teachers and experts in other profession, and all of the 7 directors of programs are from Xi'an Jiaotong University and other privileged universities.
The School of Engineering and Technology invested 21 million RMB yuan in setting up the Center of Electricity and Intelligent Manufacturing Experimental Teaching, which is operating well in teaching now. This center is a model center of its kind in Shaanxi Province and contains the well-known Siemens industry 4.0 intelligent manufacturing production line, providing students all-round and systemic training in digital production modes.
